The JV boys football team traveled to Albany Thursday night to play the Albany Lions. The Buffaloes, short- handed with some key injuries, played well but came up short against the Lions, 20-6.
Albany came out and scored first, and took the early lead. By halftime, the Lions were up 14-0. The offense couldn’t get things rolling the first half, but came out the second half and started to move the ball, and proved the game to be a different story and was a well-matched game the rest of the way. The Buffaloes came down and put together a nice drive that was finished off with a touchdown from Gage Brock, but as the game grew longer, and chances fewer, the Buffaloes fell just short of a come-back and ended the game down 20-6.
Next week, the Buffaloes travel to Santo to play the Wildcats Thursday night @ 6:30.
